More about me…

I was born and raised in Skopje, the capital of a small country called now North Macedonia. An unexpected twin baby, that came as a surprise on the day of delivery as my mother thought (and was told) she would have only one boy.  It is only when I became a mother myself that I could grasp the gravity of her journey and the shock of that situation.

Growing up in the Balkans meant being surrounded by news and events that resonated ethnic turbulence and conflict, questioning identities, belonging, and coexistence in diversity. It was through experiential learning that I became aware of the illusion of my identity and that me, you, each and everyone is much greater than the labels we get to attach to others and oursellves. At the age of 16, I experienced this profound transformation and realized that if I could become conscious of this, so could others. We all share the same human potential.

Ever since then, I realized that a life filled with meaningful experiences is a life worth living. It’s not about what happens to me, but rather what I do with what happens to me. This sense of ownership to choose how to respond to life, rather than react, birthed a capacity within for deep self-reflection and personal mastery. This capacity leads me to live a life driven by meaning.

That’s how I got involved in youth work, coaching, training and leadership development. My career brought me to the NGO sector where I could find more meaning in my work and manifest my purpose. It started with local activism as a volunteer and grew into a career in international development in cooperation with multinational projects on a global scale.

As I was growing and excelling in my career, I noticed that I step into a state of “flow” when I design learning journeys, and facilitate processes that unleash individual and group creative potential. Driven by this spark, life took me to live, visit and work in many countries across the world. Though I feel like a global citizen, I have chosen Amsterdam to be my home, where I currently live with my beloved husband and son.

My journey continues with my intention to become more conscious every day, be the designer of my own life experience, and consciously be choosing to act and live from a place of love, self-worth, and abundance. I continuously practice leaning into trusting that life is in my favor, for it is not only when it flows, but also when I struggle that I evolve and transform.
