Facilitation and Co-creation

nina

Make your online,  face-to-face or hybrid gatherings and conferences meaningful and engaging for all.

Think about it, each and every one of us is a living co-creation. Co-creation is happening everywhere and all the time. It is a fundamental principle of nature. Deliberate co-creation happens when we engage in a process in which we infuse our own creativity into a synergetic manifestation with others. For this the following mindsets are essential:

  • Embrace uncertainty
  • Be curious and trust the potential in the group
  • Invite and capitalize on diversity
  • Dare to provoke creativity and innovation yet remain relevant
  • Fail early and fail forward
  • Clear is kind
  • Be authentic
  • Use “Language of possibility”

Engagement is at the core of my facilitation. This not only means participatory and interactive methodologies but also cultivating a brave space where all are welcome to show up as they are and cultivate their wellbeing while co-creating together. I trust the potential of a group, and I deploy methods to hold safe spaces for that potential to manifest through everyone’s contribution. I facilitate spaces and processes that achieve desired destinations, but I make sure we all enjoy the ride while we get there.

I learned from Nina to be flexible. During a digital conference we facilitated together, we were experiencing a few technological challenges and Nina quickly adapted and kept the flow. So that’s something I’m taking forward into my work in the future as a facilitator.
