Really cool social media challenges can serve as a great inspiration for facilitation tool.

For example, the self-love challenge of Ashley Graham, a +size model, when done together as a group, turns out to be a fun and empowering facilitation tool.

Invite all to stand up and tell them that you are all up for a self-love challenge. Announce that you will share a couple of questions that will invite the participants to reflect on their own body, and instead of answering with words, they need to answer by pointing out the body part that responds to the question.

Start with everyone to show you which part of their body they consider to be:

  • The strongest part of my body? – model how you point to a part of your body that you consider the strongest and allow for others to do so too.

Allow for some time for people to look around. Then continue with a few more rounds with the questions below repeating the same process.

  • The sexiest part of my body?
  • My favorite part of my body?
  • The most important part of my body?
  • The part of my body I would never change?

Note that the brain, smile, heart, and other organs which are not as visible are also part of the body, which can also be loved.
